Last Friday, we had a terrific day photographing some great couples. We started in the afternoon with Ashlee and Tim who are planning their wedding for 2009. They were in town for Easter and wedding preparations so it was the perfect time for an engagement session.
We started in the park – aren’t they adorable!
Then there was a quick change.
We love when couples go with both a casual and a dressy look.
We finished with a little sexy, mysterious flare and then we were off to another part of the metroplex for our next set of love birds (see next post).
Gotta have a slideshow that shows all the fun we had in between…
Walker was born on Leap Day, year 2000. Of his years on earth, this was really only his second birthday, the other six years he has celebrated with his mom on her birthday which is February 28th. But yesterday was Walker’s day and he and some great friends celebrated at Gameworks in Grapevine.
Walker’s mom is Shanna Marko of The Organized Event so she had the party planning all taken care of and it was evident that these 7 and 8 year olds were in heaven. Walker is the creative genius behind the t-shirts. Freedom Fighters is the name of the band he and his guys have started and the tee shows off the logo Walker designed for the band. Flip Dog Sportswear printed the shirts for the guys – they are a great local company for custom tees.
Here it appears that Walker might be a little short for driving yet…
Baskets were big.
It is a little hard to tell but Walker has his tongue out screaming here as he hits the puck.
The other guys are holding their breath because the first attempt for Walker to blow the candles out on his cake was thwarted by one of the over zealous celebrators.
Ari’s Bar Mitzvah Celebration was held Saturday evening March 1st at The Apartment in Dallas. Ari is a big Star Wars fan so it was the perfect theme for his event – the kid’s area was deemed Ari’s Cantina.
Culinary Art Catering catered the event and their food looked incredible – you can see examples in the slideshow below.
Here is the guest of honor yielding a glow wand as a light saber.
The arrival of three Storm Troopers was a surprise just before dessert. They made their entrance from the walk-in freezer that house the after dinner treats for the younger guests.

The guys show off their manly muscles.
The slideshow shows so much more of the night’s activities and great time that was had by all. By the way, the artwork created for the party invite and tables are by Ari himself. To see all of the photos from Ari’s event, click here – you will need to know the Event Key which Ari’s family knows and care share with you.
Congratulations Ari, we really enjoyed partying with you and your friends and family.
Today is Ari’s bar mitzvah. And yesterday, the very special day that only happens once in 4 years (Leap Day), we met at the Temple with his family and his grandparents to take the formal photos. Here are a few to share from this special occassion.
Here is a photo of Ari’s gift to his Temple.
To register to see photos from Ari’s party, please click here. You will be taken to our proofing website where you will be asked to type in your email address and create an easy to remember password for yourself. After Ari and his family see all of the photos in a few weeks, they will release the photos and an email will be sent to those people who have registered.
As soon as we have some sneak peek photos from the party, we will post them here for you to see.
