School is back in session and Carpe Vita is actively seeking cool (and hot) high school students to join the Carpe Vita Crew.

In addition, you’ll have the chance to earn photography print credits, make a little money, win some great prizes, and just look fabulous.
Interested? Text your name, school, and graduation date to Carpe Vita at 817-264-6132. Or click here to contact us.

Corinne is one of our 2009 seniors and we had a great time photographing her in the studio for a quick session. We’re planning for an outdoor session so check back to see what fun we come up with for that. Here’s a sneak peek.

Due to a lot going on at Carpe Vita Photography and the busy Peyton Thomas Salon schedule, Rachael’s Class of 2009 model session had to be split over two different days earlier this month. We started on a Monday evening just as the sun was setting for some really pretty light.

We kept going as the sunset for a Twilight Session.

Tuesday, Rachael started at Peyton Thomas Salon in Southlake to have her hair and make-up professionally done.

Then we were off to the Carpe Vita Photography studio for the second half of her model session.

Rachael spied our LoveSac when she came for her model interview and loved it so we had to incorporate it into her session.

Then we ran over to the Grapevine train yard because we thought her dress was the perfect compliment for this setting.

To see more of the fun Rachael had and some more great photos of her, check out her slideshow.

Erica is one of our Carpe Vita Senior models for the Class of 2009. We photographed her back in April and had a great time. We have been a little crazy lately and are just getting these photos posted.
We started at Peyton Thomas Salon in Southlake for her hair and make-up. All of our models get the royal treatment in line with our top session – the Metropolitan which includes their hair and make-up being done by professionals. Thanks Amy – you did a great job and Erica especially loved the extra eyelashes.

Then we visited a Grapevine location for a little country look.

From there we headed to Downtown Dallas for some fun shots at some creative locations to make this a one of a kind experience for Erica and to ensure her senior photography stands out from her friends. Carpe Vita Photography’s Metropolitan session includes up to four hours of photography at the local city destination of the senior’s choice. This session can be split over two different times for different looks but did it all at one time with Erica.

Thanks for being such a great model Erica – we really had fun working with you.
Here is a quick slideshow to show more of the photos from Erica’s session.
And CLICK HERE to see a sample album we prepared for Peyton Thomas Salon to keep on display.
If you know Erica, ask her about our model referral program. If you don’t know Erica, you are welcome to call Carpe Vita directly at 817.410.9975 or 214.245.4606 to schedule your senior session.
Also keep checking back here as we have a special booking promotion that we will be announcing this week.

Everyday, we move a little closer to the actual launch of the Carpe Vita Photography 2009 Senior Model Search. These two-sided postcards are currently being printed and we will start distributing them in the Grapevine, Colleyville, Southlake, Flower Mound, Coppell and Argyle areas soon. If you are a Class of 2009 student who thinks they would be a great candidate or you know someone who would be perfect but you (or they) don’t live in these areas, not to worry. We would love participation from outside these areas – this is just where we are concentrating our current marketing efforts for local benchmarking this time around.
